Our Partners
Action Aid Zambia
ActionAid Zambia is part of the ActionAid Global Federation working to achieve social justice, gender equality and poverty eradication. AAZ works to advance women's rights and civic participation, engage young people, and support farmers to improve their livelihoods. Since 2025, MDLA has been working with AAZ to promote effective and Inclusive Citizen Participation in Extractive Industry, Natural Resource Governance, and Climate Justice in Gwembe and Sinazongwe Districts, Southern Province.
Our Programs
Land Rights Education
MDLA conducts awareness campaigns and workshops to educate rural communities about their land rights and legal ownership processes.
Community Mapping Initiative
This program involves participatory mapping to help villages define and document boundaries, preventing disputes and promoting proper land use.
Women’s Land Empowerment
Empowers women to secure their rights to land ownership, promoting gender equality and social inclusion in land governance.
Policy Advocacy & Legal Aid
Provides legal support and advocates for inclusive land reform policies to ensure fairness and security for all landholders.
